BAPTISM
First Sacrament of Initiation
Baptism...
A New Beginning in Christ!

Baptism is the first of the Roman Catholic Sacraments of Initiation.
It is the sacrament by which, the Roman Catholic Church
believes,
original sin with which we are all born with as a result of
the first sin
of Adam and Eve, is wiped away and we have a truly new beginning
in
Jesus Christ!
It is called a Sacrament of Initiation because it is one
of the three
Sacraments which really commence the journey of faith of a true
Roman
Catholic.
Though most Roman Catholics received this Sacrament soon
after
their birth, a person can freely choose to be Baptized into the Roman
Catholic Church at any point in their life. In fact, many of the
Baptism in our Parish are of already grown adults.
We invite all of you who have not yet been Baptized, to
join us in our
journey of faith as one true Roman Catholic Church!
